Learning Experience

Over the past year, I have learned so much about how not to date in 2018.

There are so many new phrases out there that apply to my life.  Ever hear the term ghosting... Ghosting is when you think things are going well with a person you are dating, or at least you thought you were, and they disappear without so much as a bye.  I would have thought this a terrible move and personally still do but I am also guilty of it.

I consider myself to be blatantly honest about what I seek from online dating or from my significant other but I too found myself in a position where it was easier for me just to block the party I had interest in rather than to explain why I no longer wanted to participate.

This brings me to the newest of terms I have both been guilty of and have had happen to me at the same time.  Ever heard of Haunting..  Haunting is when you continue to go on to a persons social media after you all have split.  To see if they are happy or still single or just to see them.  I am guilty.  It has caused me to block and delete folks from my social media when we no longer speak so that they cannot do this to me.  However, I found that some cases, I left them so that they could see me.  Passive Aggressive I guess.

I am such a cliché.
